The Real Reason You Can’t Sleep After the Gym
You track your sleep and you have seen it for yourself. A hard evening workout, and your deep sleep drops, your HRV dips, and your resting heart rate stays up half the night. The same session in the morning, and you sleep fine. It is not the clock doing it, and you do not have to give up training to fix it. In this one I walk through why an evening workout spikes your cortisol and wrecks your sleep, why the timing of your exercise matters more than most people think, and the simple order to fix it in: protect your sleep first, then move the hard training to the morning, where it works with your natural circadian rhythm instead of against it.
